People
Makes an intended positive impact on people in the local context of the hub. (ie. improves livelihoods, access to healthcare, economic opportunities)
Planet
An environmentally conscious initiative with a focus on transitioning to more sustainable practices, decarbonization, reducing use of petrochemicals and synthetics.
Culture
Preserves and respects local culture. Ideally proliferates existing or dying cultural identities.
Nominations are received and review by an expert jury. The winner in announced at the Sustainable Design Impact Hub event.
